Finally put all of the new new emblems on Quorra.
Took a bit more time than I was planning due to me measuring everything at least 5 times.

purdy!
Wish them thar were available when I did mine... Very nice.
I have seen this thread a few times, and been generally keeping up. this is a fantastic build. Hans directed me here because i plan on painting my car a lexus pearl white as well... but i think im going to aim for the glacier frost mica. I am also torn between that and balloon white... picking a paint is a lot tougher than i would like haha!
Your car look phenomenal man! cant wait to see you hit some bigger numbers, then it will get fun!!
Thanks man.
I know about color picking. I had a whole row of swatches taped on my front bumper trying to decide.
I also looked into doing the Lambo balloon white. It is a neat color, but to do it right you have to do a complete color change. The Balloon white is very very copper, definitely noticeable when next to the stock silvery white. Which means you will have to paint more of the car to make it look oem. That said, it is a gorgeous color.
With the Lexus Starfire Pearl, it is more of a bright neon white compared to the oem silver white. So I was able to leave areas like the inside of the trunk and the engine bay alone and have it look fine. If I didn't know they were different colors it just looks like it has shadow.
I will be tackling the engine bay starting in March. Want to get her ready for this spring and summer's car show season.

I will have to address my engine bay as well. I think I'm going to black it out though. Not sure if that will look good or not...
I've seen that before on a 4th gen Supra, and when done right it can look incredible. Just keep in mind that any color or anything shinny will really pop. Which is good if you plan for it, bad if you don't. haha
On the Supra I say, everything was black hoses with powdercoated black intakes and valve covers. But the huge single turbo and header work was all polished, along with the fuel rails. Looked awesome.

i like blacked out IC piping & IC. it really gives a sleeper look.
