Whats demotivating is the fact that I thought my bike had a bad TPS so I pull the codes on it and realize there are six different sensors gone bad.. At this point im kinda just hoping its my ECU instead

Seen it before, coop. Said it before and I'll say it again, happens much less in women's soccer, and that's why it's much more entertaining. It's like they're TRYING to be taken seriously, and shiens won't cut it.
This might belong in the motivators thread, but I'm laughing too hard to find it...
Gunman Shoots off Own Testicles While Fleeing Crime
you think that's funny? did you see this one?

There's a limit?
22 BILLION? wtf.
.357 1911's? hmmmmmmmmm, somehow I'm not believing any of the "facts" there.
Coonan Arms Classic .357 Magnum 1911 Pistol
Does not mean that I agree that the article is legit, just food for thought.
It specifically says it's a Colt handgun in the pic. And the coonan doesn't look like a 1911 to me, lol.
My guess is it's a .38 super 1911 and whoever did the descriptions didn't know any better.
Ah, good catch. Didn't notice that tag there. Tag appears to say Pistola Colt 0.38 Super
(seriously spent 10 minutes rereading the captions to try to see where it said it was a Colt lol)
At any rate, I highly doubt the figures cited there anyhow being as there is no actual legal reports or anything cited. Just pictures. Besides, the math doesn't add up..300 million people in the US..Even at 22 billion, that's what, like 60 bucks a person?
I just looked at the pictures, didn't really read any of it.
Given a rough estimation, it looked about 10 stacks wide, 34 long, and 10 (100 bundles) tall, maybe more. It would come to 34 Million.
This is the biggest pile of bullshit I've ever heardQuote:
The money and valuables found in this one house alone, would be enough to pay for health insurance for every man woman and child in the USA for 12 years! It is estimated to be approximately 27 more of these houses in Mexico alone. Not to mention the ones in other countries who are enriching themselves in the drug trade. These people have so much money, they make the Arab oil sheiks look like welfare recipients. Their money can buy politicians, cops, judges, whatever they need they just throw down stacks of cash and it is theirs! This is why the drug problem is so difficult to fight.
As said earlier, even at 22 billion, it would provide about 63 bucks per person in the US.
Honestly, seems like sensationalism designed to get people in an uproar over drugs so that there's some kind of outcry that we go stop it (because clearly teh War on Drugs has worked soooooo well thus far.)
Btw Paul, since we haven't started planning GnC yet (which counts as vaguely demotivating) can we possibly push it back for May instead of March? At that rate I may actually have this rebuild done by then. Plan on using spring break in March to hopefully reassemble the drive train if enough parts sell to buy the last couple things I need.
yeah, i smelled BS too. but people would rather believe in the facade of the impotent war on drugs, rather than combine the DEA with the ATF and regulate the piss out of everything.
Yikes... a whole bunch of people lucky to be breathing on this one.
Helicopter's Rotor Catches Steel Rope
Pilot wasnt buckled up? What a fool.
Soooo does anyone else wanna go find one of those houses in mexico? I can split the money a couple ways and still be happy hahahah....
Yea but still at 34 Billion, I call bs.... Unless they are stating that figuring in the art/exotic animals/gold guns and Money... Then perhaps but still doubtful. I agree with the whole up roar over drugs play.
34 billion pesos?
Current demotivator: Made one last trip to my old place to bring up a bunch of stuff that I can sell to try to pull some money together, made a stop less than 100 feet from my apartment and shut the truck off...She wouldn't fire back up. After 20 minutes of fighting with it I got it to cooperate, hopefully just a one time issue (although judging by the CEL coming on periodically on the drive back I doubt it.) Sucks cause I'm going to sell it next week, figures something would go wrong right before I try to offload it.
but they're corvettes. it's not like that ferrari dealership that caught fire. pull up craigslist, open up wallet, everything is replaced inside a week.
In the context of what was actually lost, I agree.... The 62 was sad to see down there, but probably replaceable. I do expect it would not be easy to replace many of them as they were on loan from GM, and were basically brand new cars.
There is stuff in that museum that is truly irreplaceable, even if not that desirable to most... The only remaining 83 model in existence almost landed down there, but they were able to save it.
Listen to that baby wind down, essentially a giant turbocharger:

The black ZR1 Spyder would have value simply because it is a one off item, although the fact that it would never be able to be registered due to the VIN number means that it's limited to a collectible piece. Still, obviously super rare even if it can't be registered. That 62 can probably be recovered though. I'd say that the Mallet Hammer one probably has quite a bit of value. And I would guess that the Blue Devil ZR1 would as well as a collectible, although it is a modified version of the previous platform, not a true ZR1.
I believe the only two owned by GM were the ZR1s, think the Museum owned the others.
Ouch... Don't see that every day. Was it an OE spring or aftermarket?
