I never understood the Lame Kiffin hire at USC anyway. It was pretty obvious from his days at TN that he was a subpar, bush-league coach. I have no pity for them and I hope they stay in the basement for a long time.
Tressel would be a good fit for USC. Like Tyler, I couldn't wrap my head around hiring Kiffin. He is not his father.

Nothing to add, other than I was surprised to discover that Monte Kiffin is actually from Nebraska and got his coaching start under Bob Devaney. Also, I am getting pretty excited for the UCLA game this weekend and can't wait to see the alternate jerseys the Huskers will be wearing in person.
