Zucchini - I actually found that out yesterday as well. It definitely makes a difference, I'm just not sure how much yet.

I also put in 16 votes, but not for Pittsburgh. :001_tt2:

^^^ Imagine Tom actually making that face... see if it doesn't make you smile :)

I still need to hear from 16 people who voted for Michigan or Pittsburgh. If you're one of them, please send me a PM at your earliest convenience to let me know if you'd like a refund or if you'd like a credit toward your NG16 registration (if it happens). We won't be able to make a decision until we've heard from everyone. Thank you!

Some people got to it from face book and don't follow the forum. You may want to send them an email if you haven't done so already.

I was planning to when I have time. My hope was that the majority would contact me fairly quickly so I wouldn't have to spend an entire day finding email addresses and contacting everyone individually.

Paypal has an export feature that's pretty handy for stuff like that. It makes it fairly simple to get a list of e-mail addresses, especially if the title was setup so the location can be filtered on in this case.

UPDATE:
I've gotten a few people PM'ing and emailing about whether or not there will be an NG16. I've said it, but I'll repeat it... I have some really major life things happening this week. Until they're done, I'm not making any decisions. That happens on Wednesday, at which time we hope the situation will end. However, I'm also still waiting to hear from ELEVEN people who voted for Pittsburgh or Michigan. Everyone has been emailed, asking for a decision, but only a few have responded. Hopefully we'll hear from the others soon. If not, their money automatically gets refunded. Originally, we were going to automatically apply it, but I just don't feel right about that. We need a minimum number of commitments before we'll agree to hold another NG. Right now, I couldn't say it looks good or bad... It's pretty "on the fence."

I don't know if you'll see this before making your decision, but for me, and I'm sure there's many others, I'd just be happy with a semi organized get together. If getting tracks become too expensive and would cause you to not hold the event, then an event without any track days is fine by me. I'm sure a show location could still be arranged, so we'd at least have that, but if there were no track events, I'd still attend. All I need is a few beers, and a few 3S's to look at and their owners to talk to. A few beers, a few 3S's to look at and their owners to talk to, and this thermos. A few beers, a few 3S's to look at and their owners to talk to, this thermos, and this chair...

Thanks, Tom. I really appreciate hearing that. At this time, the questionable events are drag races, because of the low participation and high track fees if we can't get in on a test & tune (and also currently we have no sponsor), and road course, because of the enormous track fees. That being said, we could still do AutoX, the pace laps, a car show... I'll take it all into consideration after tomorrow.
