I have a midcase at pct to design a midcase brace but Corona pushed that back. Hopefully he'll have one ready for me to install sometime soon, the transmission is ready to go back together otherwise.

I'm thinking the intercooler piping should be all tacked up by the weekend and possibly even started getting them welded up.

Heres the list of the things remaining, its really not that much at all:

Oil and fluids
Belts
Weld Valve cover baffles
Weld manifolds
Weld wastegate dump tube
Wiring harness
Reseal brakes
Weld intercooler piping
Weld bov flange
Build transmission
Assemble interior
Wire in COP
Wire in gauges

I'm going to take the engine back out to re-lube everything before final assembly since its been sitting for so long.

Great, so very soon? How long has the motor been sitting? If you used assembly lube you should be good for quite some time.

I got the shortblock back from Merkel in 2016. Rather be safe than another post about spun bearings on a new engine.

I broke the bandsaw blade during the week so I can't cut piping again until Wednesday, but I decided to weld up what was already cut and pieced together.

I ran out of argon after the last post, then found out the ball joints on my truck were bad. Had to wait a week to get the parts then knocked them out last weekend.

Anyway, passenger side is done. Fuel line is ran up to the rails and I made a bracket for the FPR out of the factory cruise control bracket - just waiting on the paint to dry.

Theres a roof above my workbench area where I have parts storage. I went up there and it looked like a good shot.
