Ah I see what's going on. I meant the switch in my earlier post. Just tried the ecs button but no lights came on or anything. I'll add it to my list of things to look in to.

It could be as simple as the light being bad. The previous owner could have disabled as well. If the ecs is malfunctioning the light should blink annoyingly.
You will definitely feel a difference while driving.

Received a 67mm billet wheel for my holset but......thinking about a BW s369sx-e (6973 in pte terms...think 6870;))
In Topeka KS today (and at least part of tomorrow for work) no idea where I go next. Going to try to keep folks up to date as I travel for work, try to meet more of the 3S community and maybe snag some good parts deals.
Finally may have a good shot at a new shell, but it's gotta wait a few months. Also may have a buyer for my shortblock so I can build something badder. Likely won't spend much on the car this year, but hopefully next I can afford to do this right.

Fabberge is IPS. The vid you posted has the oem quad tips. The others are larger, and better sounding.

My stealth tt is not starting. I ruled out spark and fuel as the problems so waiting for a buddy to come with tools to check timing and compression. I got the timing cover off and t belt looks good but I can't line up the timing marks to be sure without tools. Pulled all the plugs out to try and let some gas evaporate out of the cylinders. If timing and compression check out, I'll be putting in New spark plugs and a set of OEM wires for good measure, but spark looked good when I turned it over with each plug out of the head.
In the meantime, I rewired my stereo and added a line out controller between the stock head unit and a small 400w Kenwood amp. The harness was already hacked up but I was able to figure it out mostly. We're there not front tweeters on these cars on the dash? I had two sets of front speaker wires that were bound together. I separated them and only wired in the thicker of the two, thinking that would be the door speakers (which I had replaced) attempting to leave the tweeters disconnected because they are probably disintegrated like the other stockers were. I didn't get anything out the fronts but the rears sounded awesome! Have to go back in tomorrow and try the other set of front wires or just wire them both in.
I was so impressed with the improved sound adding the LOC. I had just the amp and new speakers before and it sounded distorted. I moved the amp into the center console as well. I don't use the console and it allowed me to completely hide all the wires. Had to make a few holes to run wiring in and out but it's still usable. I also have the cup holder mod in place of the stock ash tray so I don't need the console ones. Looks completely stock and sounds nice!
Now if I can just get her running again...

Had things in life go awry so I spent a week kicking my ass in gear to get my motor done. Got my second head done valves lapped, new VSS, 3G lifters, etc. Then I bolted the heads to the block, and torqued them to spec, backed them off and then torqued to 92ft-lbs. I need to send off my valve covers to get Powdercoated. This damn project has dragged on too long!
What intercoolers are those? Looking good!
I bought charcoal A pillars and headliner cross support thing for a grand total of $14 today :)
Also just picked up a set of 2g RT sides and skirts!
They look to be my handiwork :)

haha you ordered stuff too? i did that last night ....about 450 spent between ninja and 3sx. i love living so close to them it takes only a day for standard shipping.
oh yea, i found a coolant leak while changing oil. put a piece of cardboard under it and sure enough the next morning had a massive coolant stain on it. car never over heats though so not a head gasket problem. i have had to refill the reservoir a couple times in the past few months but never lose coolant from the radiator and always is full when i check under the cap.
looks like from what ive researched its a possible leaky hose near the thermostat housing. just gotta pressure test it to find out where its at.
Just remove the intake pipes to make room around the thermostat housing, unplug the MAF and start the car. That's how I found my coolant leak on one of the turbo coolant lines.Quote:

went ahead and got my new thermostat and o ring in to hopefully remedy the coolant leak. checked the same spot again before i started to see if i could find the leak area but everythings dry. pressure tested just fine also. there was alot of white powder around my thermostat housing but it wasnt wet. if it still leaks then i dont know what else it could be since the engine has never overheated and the radiator is always full and has fluid all the way to the cap. might have to do the dye test if i still find myself refilling the reservoir tank
but one things always leads to another, and now i have to replace the oil pan gasket. noticed 2 drip spots on the bottom of the oil pan so that is leading me to believe why i lost 2 quarts of oil in between changes.
now all i have to do is wait 6 weeks for my borla exhaust to be made and shipped
