Mehdasvr4...I have a few questions. Firstly, will the XM surgetank bolt-on to the XG350 runners or will they both need to be welded together? Secondly after they are mated together, will a stock hood have any problems closing? I'm thinking of going this route with a q45 TB.

The tanks have no mating surface until ordered. They weld the flange on the tank with the tapped bolt pattern for a particular runner, or they will weld them together. Your choice.

Yeah..just read the other thread..:p
I will pick one up once I get some issues resolved. AND I will post a before/after dyno chart for you fellas...:)

The runner does hit the hood, but not too bad. You can close the hood, but you need to push it hard. Over time this will leave mark on the hood and manifold.
-
Hmm...may have to shim the hood possibly...I'm thinking of getting a victory hood in the future..

I wonder if you could shave 1mm or so off of the lower intake and upper flange to lower it a little to clear.

That's what I'm planning to do.

Ive had this one designed up for some time now but seems no one is wanting anything that costs more than a couple hundred bucks. If people were actually interested in something like this we would produce it.Attachment 6245

So, how much? Seems it's made to mount to stock lower. If so, how are you going to attach?

Looks like it splits in half, so you would have to disassemble it, bolt the lower half to the stock lower and then reattach the upper half?
