Did timing belt/water pump, put back on cover, waiting on new crank pulley to button up driver's side. Tonight =hopefully finish wiring, make more fuel lines.

Well I had a leakdown test done previously and the results were not good, then I unhooked all the PCV valves so there was no vacuum on the crankcase and let it idle and it smoked like crazy. Now I'm just wondering what the likelihood is that I'll need to get the turbos rebuilt too.
No they sound and boost good. Haven't checked for shaft play yet. So what is the opinion here about breaking in/seating the new piston rings? Run it hard?
Today I put mine in the shop, tuned it up to 25psi and took it for one hell of a rip. I haven't smiled that much in a very long time :)
Felt slow but enjoyed the good looks I got while rolling around
