Well I had a leakdown test done previously and the results were not good, then I unhooked all the PCV valves so there was no vacuum on the crankcase and let it idle and it smoked like crazy. Now I'm just wondering what the likelihood is that I'll need to get the turbos rebuilt too.
I say you'll be okay for the turbos, just be sure to go easy on things for the first bit after the build. Let the "oily soot" burn off for around ~500km. Do they have shaft play, or whine loudly?Quote:
