^Just gorgeous.
Man, I'm going to have to hit you up when I go to do any body work on my car. You did a fantastic and thorough job of taking apart everything. Since I need a new windshield I'd probably do the same thing as you did haha
Ok, so its not a recent pic, in fact its rather old, but I came across it again when I was looking for something else and its one of my favorites. This is probably in 04, so its pre Victory hood, pre coilovers, pre Villains.

They were almost as dark as that, I modified that photo a little bit, but after getting pulled over for it too many times I said to hell with it and stripped the tint off. Now it's back to stock. An auto shop scratched my original tint though and replaced it with tint quite a bit darker than it was before and that was when I started getting problems from cops, but before it was like a 50% tint and I never got any problems with it
5% all around for me ;)
Just after a wash.

P.S. Beef your car looks sick.
I have 45% on the windshield, and 15% on the rest. Not been bothered yet.
Never had any problems with it.
The legal limit is 27% in SC, but changes state by state.
I spent 17 hours ridding my hatch of tint. Not fun. I had to repair 5 or 6 lines on the defroster too...
Old, crappy tint sucks to remove from the hatch, spent several hours as well. Also didn't realize I "Cut" a defroster line until after it was re-tinted.
Thanks Nationalmilkman and 92pearltt
 When I bought the car the tint looked to be decades old. Went to town with the razor and didn't look back!
Here is my 96 SL. Just did a little lexan mod to it. If interested in better pics, I have one of each light in my photo album

One day, she'll look that good again. I take that back, she'll look even better. I'll go back to the same spot and do a much better photshoot.
i just put on some new rims and tires. new michelin pilot super sports, that can handle .9g's in the wet! with some Enkei Racing PF01(18x9.5)in satin black. lost 22lbs in weight and gained 1.5 inches width per tire.

still got the tein springs and camber arms sitting in the garage, lol.
glad to hear about your success with the pilot sports. I think those are going to be my next tire. BTW, your car looks pretty cool, are you ever going to paint the front though? Your car looks confused, it can't tell if its going red or if its going black haha
thanks and they are pilot 'super' sports,Michelin Pilot Super Sport the newest in the line!
its going black bit by bit. i plan on painting in the spring. a 600 mile road trip with a slight vibration at 65-80 (after balancing the rims 2x) was enough for me to go with rims now, paint later. its always been about what under the hood to me, you cant enjoy that with a shaky wheel, lol.
I completely agree. In fact, that's why I have been shopping for tires and came upon the Michelins. My old tires are beginning to shake and that tells me it's time to start shopping for tires again. I also found my tie rod ends to be a bit weathered so those are getting replaced as well before getting the new alignment for the new tires.
