Having 5 people that each commit to 4 votes is great for seed money, but we still need enough people in attendance to guarantee we can pay the bills when the event takes place. More people means more money later on, and the ability to pay those bills. I sure hope that makes sense.... It's really hard to put into words tonight. And there is always the chance that we'll be refunding a lot of the money we collect. For those who want to place more votes, it works for them too - it's a greater investment toward their registration. But some people can't do that, and it's important that they make whatever commitment they can. At this time, if no one backs out, we'll do fine with seed money. They will, though, so we'll have to see how it goes. I believe the majority are committing regardless of where the event is held. Especially given the number of people that voted multiple times, for multiple cities.
And Steve... I have no idea what you're talking about. ;) It's almost like you're implying that I would take pleasure in tormenting all of you. Like I'd want revenge for something... or maybe I just have a sick sense of humor. I can't believe anyone would think such a thing of me. ;)
