Just checked it. 336 months alive and owned a 3/S for 108 months which puts me at 32%.
Just checked it. 336 months alive and owned a 3/S for 108 months which puts me at 32%.
I've had mine for 8.9% of my life (~28 months of ownership & I'm ~315 months old).
Total time the car was operational: 12 months. :( (had to fix a lot of stuff before I began to use it & now it's down for a transmission overhaul/snowballing into a lot a bunch of other fixes, too)
Yeh, but Dave's divisor in the equation (coughcough OLD cough) LOLOL works agianst him!
:D
And his original stock catback exhaust continued to live on on my car! haha!
The ideal age to "win" this competition would be 36. That would put you at 16 yrs old when the first 3S was released, and if you bought it then and kept it, you'd have had it for almost 21 years, so about 57% is the max anyone could have.
I think the idea should be amended since the first 16 years of most of ours lives doesn't really count since we didn't own any car.
Anyway...
248 months old with 25 months of ownership = 10.08%. I'm such a noob.
In my version 56 months since I turned 16 with 25 months of ownership = 44.64% of my driving life. That sound better.
i got my license when i was 19--thus meaning i've owned this car for 67.9% of my driving life.
not really a fair comparison when you consider that some people bought a 3/s at age 15, and it has been their first and only car.
115 Months owned. 337 Months alive. 34.1%
258 Months of life 36 months of ownership. 14%
483 months alive, 3s for 81 months =31.8%
But been a "dodge" turbo driver since I was 15...
...turbo Shelby charger, GLHS omni, TSi conquest, Shelby daytona Z, talon TSi.
That would cover 62.1% :D
Alive - 334 months
3s owner - 93 months
27.84% life spent as a 3s owner
I looked at the numbers and was like, I know I am tired, but there is no way in hell that is 30whatever percent, so I opened the calculator and did the math, then proceeded to spend 5 minutes trying to figure out exactly what you did to come up with that number. LOL
I've had my white car for about 8.5 years, so that makes it 18.1%
29.6%ish.
Yeah, what you said. I've deeply admired the car from the beginning, but wouldn't pay the price. Sucks that they are now affordable for a 16 yr old. as it means the market value just continues to slide. I bought mine late in life, well past the point of being able to afford one, simply due to being interested in other toys, so my percentage is low @ 7%.
I am 513 months old:
I've been a 3S owner for 146 months, so 28.46% of my life has been with a 3S.
I've had the Stealth for 117 months, so 22.81% of my life with the Stealth.
The Stealth was built in October of '91 so it is 242 months old. I have owned it for 48.35% of it's life.
i got my RT when i was 15 so i've had it for about 30% of my life. I bought my vr4 when i turned 18 so i've only had that one for about 16% of my life.
Got my first vr4 in sept. 02 sooo I'm around 36% of my life with a vr4.
Jason
I'm 612 mths old (ancient), and I've owned my Stealth for 120 mths, so I've only owned mine for 19.6% of my life.....
I have been in my 1991 VR4's life for 100% of its existence. It has been in my life for about 41% of my existence.
I got my car on 01/11/2006 was born 01/12/1982 (it was my birthday present to myself) that's as of this month I,m 359 months old and had my car for 71 months so 19.77% next month will be a perfect 20% being 360 alive and 72 of ownership.
