Try some PitRoad-M fenders, they look alright IMO

Bolt on fenderflares on ebay that caught my interest. Pretty expensive though for some fenderflares but maybe that means quality is good...
JDM Universal Over Fender flare 3000GT Mirage camaro Corvette E30 E36 E46 M3 | eBay
Asked the seller some questions about material, pics installed and if they ever testfitted on a 3s. Hopefully I'll get some good answers cause I really like the look of these.
Btw. Do you think these in black or cf wrap could look good on a red 1g?
actually they look like they could be the same as the ones fitted on this car; http://forum.canada3si.org/showthread.php?t=3199
They are Bland New!!!
I guarantee they don't fit shit. A universal flare is about as good as a universal hood.
That installed pic is on a 14" rim/tire combo and will never fit the arch of a 3S. Those look like the same one a guy bought for his car and they didn't look right and he never used them.
I'm all for them if they fit but not getting my hopes up on them.
not nessesarely(spelling) the same though because they show the same pic for all their flares they sell for several car models..

it's probably garbage like all of you say but I'm interested to see what answers i get from him. if he can show me a pic of them installed on a 3s and the quality of the material is good I'm gona buy them :)
yeah, it's going to be a DIY for suuuuure, my plan is to play with some Plasticine and see if I can find a shape I like
I'm not into it, but the flares look better than most of the stuff on this car. Man, they really butchered this thing, lol.

p.s. I had these rims on a car like 12 years ago :p They were pretty lightweight. Looked better in pics than in person. White was a BAAAAAD idea.
I kinda like the guage pod. Better than the A-pillar pods anyway. Anyone know where to get these for LHD?

just did this just to give me an idea of what it would look like. :p
IDK if i like it. Would probably look better irl and everything in CF..
and yeah the lip is abit crocked. worked with what I had. did it in paint!
Ironically that look is growing on me, what's the flare type you went off?
boltons has more the function over form track look to me. i kinda like that :p
this one

wow, looks terrible on the Rexie, looks great on the GTO :)
I think when you continue the flare down to the sills it makes it look great
idk I think it would look worse. I think the large wheelarches we have makes it a bad idea.

these pics are so low res and shitty... someone with photoshop skills should make a better attempt with a better quality pic.
Rex also means WRX.
Why not just roll/flare the fenders? There was a member on 3si from France that did it to his black 1g stealth, and it looked pretty sick. Found the pics and the thread!

Those where cut and rewelded with new/more metal to get that flare. That's not something your going to get with a little fender roller.
Hell it does look like he rolled them out and bent them.
http://img432.imageshack.us/img432/7281/1000367jk4.jpg
those were rolled. the problem is...rolling them won't fix the gap; especially not on the sides.
yes, a fender flare can do that. simply rolling the fenders won't; and that's what i dislike about rolling them. it looks decent from certain angles, but i don't see any straight-on profile shots of those rolled fenders. at stock height, even though everyone hates the gap between tire and fender, you have to admit that the wheel wells are generally symmetrical. lowering it, as you noted, distorts this so you end up with an oval-shaped look.
i would prefer to keep it stock height (for NUMEROUS reasons) and mask the gap by using flares to "bring in" the gap on all sides, and not just the top.
Ordered some 240SX/S13 flares to try out
it's the same as the ones on this car
http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/05/...-breed-of-s13/
my plan is to be able to run my Oz futuras widened to 11" in the rear and 10 in the front
visualized how it will look like hopefully (not my car btw)
Well.. I Think they could be made work. Quite alot of work but it's doable imo.
just need to form them in some areas. And cut in some
But this will be a later project for me cant even fit through my current garage port with that added width
piece of the front fender not attached in these pics
