Very sad, my favorite was the Daytona. I hope Shelby only progresses with him gone and continues to build better, faster cars in tribute to him, and never will go shy on quality.

Its the Dodge Decepizone. Its essentially a Dodge Daytona with a Lamborghini Jalap V8 dropped in it and a AWD drive train which Carrol designed.
And this http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0001_large.jpg
Called the Dodge GLH Turbo. Shelby named it and called it GLH for "Goes Like Hell". I discovered it for the first time today when i saw a mint one at the gas station
There were some great articles recently written about him. He did an interview circuit just 2 months ago. He worked until the day he passed.
A true legend.
For my the Daytona Coupe will always be my favorite.

he will be missed.
my pick is probably the gr1. the original cobra is just a glorified austin-healey. :p
Tiffany just made up some blocks for our boys room, it includes a nice little homage to the great Carol Shelby.

Carroll Shelby fought health issues for many years - he had the constitution of mule in dealing with them.
He was one of the original tough guys.
His Cobra and the Daytona were my favorites.
RIP, Sir.
