Let me be the first to yet again show how Mike's fanboi inside gets the best of him.
"Ben the PC Guy" is a Windows rep who knows tips and tricks of the phone inside and out. He is going against the average Joe's who know a little about their phone, but not to any degree of what a qualified rep for a certain phone would know.
For instance, take this video below. He has a contest to see who can post to Twitter and Facebook first. Starts it off and says, "Go". He clearly finishes first against some kid who has probably had the Nexus for a few weeks, and is by no means an expert. With that said, I bet I could burn a lot of people with a first gen Android with a 600MHz processor and next to no memory running on 2.0. Reason? I happen to know phones pretty damn well from my occupation. So, there stands a chance that I know a shortcut or way of going about working on my phone that many others don't. Simply put, all Benny Boi is doing is putting what he knows best against the average Joe. In this case, a program on the Windows phone that can post to all selected social networking sites at once. Think of it as a comparison in speed from a ZR1 Corvette (Ben the PC Guy) to a Viper ACR (average Joe). Only the the ZR1 has The Stig behind the wheel and the ACR is some guy who likes to take his sports car for a spirited ride from time-to-time. Oh, and PS, there are plenty of free apps that can do the same thing. ie. post one thought to all your social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter without having to go into each one.

Better luck next time, chief. ;)
Yeah, hardly a tough test. I know everyone has different experiences with phones. I have had a few Nokia's. My fave was the N95 except battery life was lame. It just stopped working - also lame. I now have an N8 which stopped working almost 2 months ago. It was in and out of Nokia getting fixed instead of just replacing it. My new handset is ready for pickup tomorrow. While the newer software makes it faster, it's still not a great phone.

I am not talking about the competition, but rather the original video itself. it has absolutely nothing to do with performance. It's anpther video making you the laughing stock around here. Also, which phone of mine won't be able to compete right now? My Blackberry? My Galaxy Android? Or my Windows 7 Pro? I have access to all three cupcake. Also, one day maybe Windows phones will be able to better compete. As of right now, Android and the iPhone are beating Windows mobile like a red headed step child. #true story #truth hurts
Cool thing about WP7 is that you don't need a beast phone to run it. My Trophy is a piece of shit as far as a phone goes, but it runs twice as smooth as the new Razr with Android (1Ghz vs Dual Core 1.2Ghz & twice the RAM). Granted, Android has the best marketplace and some pretty sweet looking phones but I still prefer my Trophy ONLY because it has WP7.
It all comes down to preference. There was a time when Android was the little guy with little market share. Unfortunately, Microsoft came late to the party but that doesn't mean their OS is crap. The look and feel is VERY attractive and intuitive while sacrificing some customization. I personally don't care who says what in a video. I work at a Verizon store and have played with EVERY single phone that's been released in the last 6 years so my decision is informed enough lol
You guys should check out the launch party for it in Europe. It's on youtube and it has deadmau5 and a cool projection on a skyscraper. Made me want to get the phone lol.
