Will do, I might see how much the price would be for a few of them and let people know. And if any mods are watching, don't worry I'll jump through the standard hoops to get verified.

Cool thanks
Ok so I'll just bump this again, I gave a call to Whiteline Automotive (Whiteline - Performance Suspension Products for Maximum Grip, Handling & Performance. Whiteline Adjustable Whiteline Sway Bars Adjustable Anti Roll Bars Anti-Roll Bars Stabiliser Bars Stabilizer Bars Anti Sway Bars Anti-Sway Bars Camber Kits Caster K) and asked about the steering rack bushings.
These are the brand I bought for my STi and I feel that they deliver so I'm going to give it a shot.
I was basically told over the phone to contact the AU office via e-mail as they would be able to get a better quote for me. They may need to make upwards of 50 bushings to make it worth their while (understandable).
I am going to PM one of our AU 3/s/GTO peeps to see if contacting them from AU would be easier.
ok, I just called up for you guys, they said that it's not something they have or would even consider making unless they were going to sell hundreds of them :(
your next best bet is to chase down another car that uses the same rack (Maybe the Mitsubishi Magna?)

somethign like that would be your closest...got a pic of both bushings?

looks like the 3sx one...

Only the bushing with the angles is going to fit. The other bushing won't fit a car with AWS. I've never been up close to a 2WS rack, so I don't know if it will fit on the right side of that either.
Looks pretty close to me :) you could always give it a shot and see how it goes :)
Talked to a different company today. They would be able to make a mold and 2-20 bushings (more you buy the cheaper), it would be quite a chunk of change but I would be able to get the mold.
Nice research on the bushing! I will try to get one ordered asap and let you know how it goes.
Edit: why do only ausi's make poly bushings?! lol
oh nice!
NFI on why it's aussies, quite funny how often I come back to Aussie companies for stuff.
but then quite often where I search for something locally and find a better version of it is available cheaper in the USA :p
