Looking at buying new carpet

Ok so its starting to look like OEM or bust. I hate things that just dont look right. The only problem with my current carpet is that it has 1 small cigarette burn on the rear passenger floorboard area. and things like that bug me. Other than that it is perfectly fine. If i were to clean it up nicely it would really look brand new. The carpet only has 77000 miles on it and as we all know most of the wear is on the drivers floorboard which mine has none.

Dbest671, your Challengers color looks really close to my fathers 1971 R/T Chargers color. B-5 Blue; I've not seen a Challenger in that color personally as of yet.

If you you go OEM the part # is MR740505. I have one still in the plastic and just looked at the tag.

That's the color of our Challenger, B-5 blue. Pictures don't do the color justice, it really looks better in person.

Every aftermarket carpet I have EVER seen fits horribly, and looks cheap.

I can sell you a brand new OEM one for $525 if you are interested.

Thanks for all of the quick reply's guys =) I'm in the process of fully cleaning my stock carpet now to see how bad it really is. i called my father to ask about repairing small cigarette burns and he said he could do it. ill take some pics and load em up shortly.

I know right! Mitsubishi doesn't mess around with cutting cost. I ordered 700 dollars (that was @ dealer cost; they cut me a break) worth the trim parts and it all fit into a box that was about 2 feet wide by 3 feet long and had a depth of about 5 inches. So here is some pics of the carpet not cleaned as of yet. Tell me if you would reuse it or not.

I got new carpet from ACC for my other car and it doesn't fit right either. I assumed that would be the case with the Stealth and I've been trying to buy a nice used OEM carpet for some time now. I don't know why it's so hard. It almost makes it worth it to spend the $440 for new carpet. Now I have to try and find OEM carpet for my other car as well.

it looks decent there's still a little more elbow grease i need to put into the passenger rear floorboard area. other than that it cleaned up nicely and I'm impressed. I am the third owner of this car and i feel that the first owner took very good car of it but the second owner, who only had it for about 8 months trashed it. But with only 65000 miles on it at the time of purchase i got a hell of a deal i think.
Its a bit darker because its not fully dried. its just a bit damp to the touch as of when the pic was taken
