it's not just me then. i was hoping i didn't just spend $400 on 2x supra pumps for nothing.
Walbro's aren't as loud as many make them out to be when they are installed correctly. Using the rubber sock and mounting it correctly helps. But even with that they are normally louder than a supra pump. Keep more than 1/4 tank helps also.

I just pulled my walbro lastnight and found tho o-ring wasn't seated correctly, causing my idle issues and 0psi fuel pressure lol. Installed it right this time and it is actually noticeably quieter now. I think it was resting against the hanger too much before and caused it to sit at a funny angle and not seal, also making the hanger amplify the noise. I actually don't hear it over then exhaust now.
guess i'll just wait and see what the noise on 2 supra pumps is with jackhammer's pump hangar.
if you can hear your fuel pump over your exhaust, you have a problem. (hint: problem would be your exhaust).
fuck no. i don't need to lose my hearing. i want my exhaust QUIET.
if i can hear a fuel pump over a STOCK exhaust...it's too loud.
you can't have stock exhaust with engine upgrades. iirc stock exhaust must go first, even with little higher boost on 9bs.
