I've perfect vision but my stepson got it done. He was forever walking into things and bumping things over- a real cluts. But after surgery wow what a huge difference. I actually can't remember the last time he knocked something. His confidence has improved ten fold.
Definitely worth it.
I past on it from the army my eye sight isn't that bad to justify the risk. I don't ever where glasses exempt at a M4 range were the target is 200+ meters away can't see it so I bring my BCG(birth control glasses) out there with me
Me wants as well, but my left eye is not stable yet. Still getting worse year after year...
A woman i work with had this procedure done a few years ago, she swears by it. I didn't even know that she had worn any form of corrective lenses until she mentioned that she had it done in a conversation about glasses, etc. I say got for it, but +1 to the "check doctor's credentials" recommendation.
What's the percentage of population that wears glasses/contacts? I feel like I'm one of the few people who does not require some form of corrective lenses.
Are any of you that had this done having any glare issues driving at night? A few people I know had to drive with sun glasses at night because of glare after lasik.
I had issues during the first 3-4 weeks, then a slight glare for another couple months. Since then I haven't noticed anything bothersome what so ever.

I'd be down for a group buy, LOL. I need to wait for my eyes to "settle" so to speak before I can get anything surgically corrected. I HATE glasses, they get dirty so easily, and I'm not really comfortable spending money on contacts since they're not covered on my plan.
I wear glasses while driving... close vision is fine. But I think it's fine/safe now days. My grandfather was 90 and had his entire lense replaced with a plastic one..... that's some freaky shit.
