You can't judge autometer by your experiences with Prosport. Prosports are WIDELY known to be completely junk. There are very, very few stories of people who have had any issues with Autometer. They may not be quite as popular, but they are the most solid bang for the buck.

We've also had 1 or 2 guys do a full gauge redo with their Nexus line. Looks bad-ass.

True, but autometer quality varies by a wide margin based on which line you choose. They sell some pretty shitty gauges in some of their lines.

Greddys line with dual analog/digital readings are cool. So you can have oil pressure/watertemp in one. And they have 7 colour led backlight. I wanted one of those. But they are 450$ :S But if you want quality expect to pay I guess

Sure, but a lot of people (myself included) have no interest in running an oil line into the car.

They have a separation kit so it's just a line of alcohol inside, also not the point. I really don't recommend mechanical gauges in street cars and the only ones I do recommend are the glycerin dampened gauges. I have had 2 mechanical autometer boost gauges that sit at like 5 psi when the engine is off they are so inaccurate after a year of use. Their cheaper electric lines are pure shit was the point.

yes, I really like the multi d/a gauge, but I'm just not sure of a good place to mount it, due to its odd size.

Yeah, odd size. Might work to shove them in with some force like the 60mm ones. Or shave down those last 2mm somehow. But shaving material off 450$ gauge might not be the smartest thing to do for resale value :S
