car stalls sometimes from dead stop

Mine used to stall when approaching a stoplight/stop sign, but mine was resolved with replacing the fuel filter (which was installed backwards & felt heavy/full of crap).

As far as the fuel filter goes, I don't think its a fuel issue because it doesn't hesitate when I'm gunning it which is when a fuel problem would usually be I thought, such as under heavy load

Just wondering if there was a definite solution to this. I am having a similar stalling (loss of power) under acceleration. I am going to change the fuel filter, but would like some other ideas.

If I had loss of power under acceleration the first thing I would check is plugs and wires.

There is other key information missing from your post that would help with diagnosis, like firstly, what model do you drive? Turbo or NA? If NA, manual or automatic? Mileage on the car? Any CELs?, etc
