I think the navy method of promotion is total BS, and because all of the chiefs blocking the lower ranks from promotion--eventually there's going to be a huge "bathtub" between them, and all of a sudden there won't be anyone left in leadership. they'll have flushed everyone mid-level who WOULD have been the next leadership. most idiotic thing ever.
