Agreed. He would have been better off with a 98 or something. Besides...true 3/s owners know the 96 tt is the holy grail, not the 99 vr4. ;)

3/s interior is WAY better than the "I'm surrounded by plastic everywhere" GM and Ford interiors.

My friend posted this on my facebook yesterday. I personally would never own a 99 vr4. Seems like all of them have the electric sunroofs which really eats away head room. Not to mention I think the older digital climate control looks cooler than the 99 display. Best 3s IMO is a 94-95 (no ODBII crap) with giant glass sunroof and 99 conversion:)

seriously. the 2g rt had the best rear. and the 97/98 had the best "other 3/4ths". and when you toss in 99 lights, GAME OVER.

Not a fan of the 99 front, though would not mind it if a true 99. Not a fan of the headroom loss with the sunroof either. Split on the 97/98 bumper and the 94-96. I like them both.

Dead on with the 2nd gen RT tails, win.

Oh, and 1st gen GT side skirts ftw

I'm the same way although Bryan put his 97 on my car to mock up intercoolers and I really liked how it looked.
