10-3-13
Spent the evening cleaning the under side of the car as well as all the front bumper plastic pieces. There was quite a bit of trans fluid all over the bottom of the car. I need to hunt down all the damn 10mm bolts and the plastic screws which hold the pieces to the bumper. All the 12mm bolts are there but the rest of the hardware is missing...

I also installed the HIDs and polished up the head lights.
Just ordered the extra t-bolt clamps I need for the IC pipes and this car will be running my IPS down pipe saved from my DR650 build a few years ago.
This is the old setup:

Well I took a few steps back to swap in a few of the powder coated pieces.

Swapped the fuel filter, injector pack and the solenoid pack.
After that I decided to pull the oil filter and had an accident. The oil filter wrench slipped and I cut my wrist on the heat shield for the starter. It's a beautiful cut too. Gonna need a few stitches.
This will put me out a while...

I got married 11-14-13 so some time was taken away from the car. ...but on 11-20-13
Weather was warm the last couple days so I went back to work on the car.
Somehow I lost the long bolt for the alternator belt tensioner. The long one that goes thru the oil pump.
None of the underbody bolts came with the car so I need to order all of them at the same time.
The stock rubber intake splitter that goes after the MAF was missing the plastic air diverter so I had to order a new one. Got that courtesy of Hans.
The t-bolt clamps I ordered are not even close to the size they say they are....
The CX Racing y pipe BOV flange is about 1/4" too big for the stock rubber hose.
The same pipe has too large of a nipple for the vac hose which is needed for the BCS. Good thing I spent the time to powder coat it and make it look nice....
The battery tray I powder coated is missing. I must have sold it and forgot about it...
Guess i didn't really get too much done...
One thing that did go well was the throttle body rebuild. I finally got around to installing the seals April gave me.

12-24-13 (christmas eve)
Tried like hell to get everything done tonight but ran into more than anticipated. The XM stereo required half the interior come out. Fortunately they didn't hack the car up. Unfortunately the fuse box under the drivers dash is a bit messed up. Looks like someone tapped one of the fuses for power and melted part of it. The thing seems to work but I'm going to swap it out.
Spent more time working than taking pics but here's a general idea of what got done.
Starting with this...

Cleaned with a watered down bleach solution then some silicone leather spray to seal and shine.

Car in the process of becoming simplified.

EVO stereo installed. Montero amp need 2 pins swapped before I can plug that in.

Also installed the new OEM parking brake, new OeM shift knob and boot, Seattle short throw shifter and 3SX solid shifter bushings.
I need to pull the instrument cluster to install the active exhaust bulb and wire in the push button start.

The car sat untouched from Christmas eve till 4-6-14. Lots of reasons for this. Main one being lack of heat in the garage...
Got some more stuff done today. Started with swapping out the messed up fuse box.

Pretty much a plug and play affair. Removing the Etacs and the driver side frame bar made the job 10x easier.
After that I wired up the Active Exhaust switch (will do a writeup on this later).
Then it was finally time for the Corbeaus with Terry's seat brackets.

They're pretty idiot proof to install. I had to enlarge one of the mounting holes because it didn't quite line up right but that was an easy fix.

Transferring the seat belt receiver over I found a surprise. Looks like the wire got caught in the seat track and was cut. Also found the SRS light bulb pulled from the dash. Betcha a Taco this is why.

The stock bolt is a bit too long. Some washers fixed that.

Seat brackets were an easy install.
