everyday...i feel like crap if i dont..
Im alright. I just listen to some really pumpin' music while I skate. Plus I have shin and elbow pads as well on top of the strap-on weights. it fells like skating on sand sometimes but my arms and legs are solid. it helps because once a week I swim.
problem is I cant stop. I can skid/slow down but not a full on brake. I dont know why LOL
vantage is correct, it becomes a addiction, for more than 20 years i would run 8 to 10 miles tue thru friday, take sat off and run 20 miles on sunday, take monday off to recover. it is addiction for sure, wrecked my ankle and never could get back. lucky i started shooting highpower and pistol to replace the running. i have friends who still run every day and are over 60 years old and have been running since grade school and never had a injury. so working out is ok just dont let it consume you.
Do a 10 minute mile before class M-F.
Lift 5x/week:
Monday - Chest
Tues - Shoulders / Delts
Weds - Back
Thu - Arms
Fri - Legs / gluts
Sat/Sun rest
Jack3d pre-workout, ON Hydro-Whey 3 scoops/day
I was at the gym until just this month. Too much going on so I took a few weeks off. I would like it more if there were more sports activities in my area for chicks, but alas, there is not much to chose from. I do like Macky's idea, though........
I clean up the shop, move heavy stuff around (sorta). I figure that's good enough. LOL
It's so hard to go to the gym! Feels like a chore!
I work out my finger muscles by typing on a computer.
I just got back in it (daily 3 mile runs...working up to 6). Plus I have soccer 2 days a week (actually the reason I started running in the first place). The thing I have trouble with is weight lifting...I can never seem to commit to it. And I have a free (but crowded) gym at school, plus a bench at home?! Soccer though I'm addicted to, I'd play daily if there were games that often. I play indoor year round, just so I have a steady once a week game, but now that fall is here I joined both a men's league and a co-ed one.
