Christin Cooper and NBC should be hung for what they did to Bode Miller.
Bode made it clear he didn't want it to go that direction, stopped talking, and she just kept pressing, what a bitch.
she pushed it to much but 10 to 1 her producer was in her ear telling her to keep going. tv execs live to catch these atheltes break down. Miller has tweeted twice to back off her that it wasn't a big deal.
it's interesting watching societies reaction to this interview compared to Richard Shermans. seems that being a victim is celebrated while being an excited alpha male is vilified. kinda falls right in line with the MO of the powers that be imo.
It seems there is a new media imperative to insert itself into events and drive the coverage in unnatural directions - the media has earned more mentions than the athletes on a few occasions.
I enjoyed the poetic justice of Bob Costas' kissing up to ex-commie Putin, then being done in by a severe case of pink-eye. :p
He tweeted that because he's a class act. That was still some of the worst badgering I have ever seen to someone who just lost their brother. Absolutely no social graces. Just a Neanderthal grasping for tears on national / worldwide television.
