I don't like the look of the 96 spoiler, just my opinion don't want to offend anybody

If you have the desire to mod and can afford it, why not is how I see it. I agree with Jason though in terms of not getting too crazy with mods, however I would pobably go front instead of side mounts, but that's just me.
I DD my E55AMG and every time I get in this car just fills ...
Thanks Jason I think I'm going to do that and maybe DR750
I thought about modifying my 96 Stealth TT many times for the past 2 years but just decided to leave well enough alone. I've restored the interior and performed all of the vital maintenance that was due- but i've pretty much left it alone. I do plan on perhaps adding lowering springs just to give it a better, more aggressive stance but that can easily be undone if i ever sell it and the buyers prefers a stock car.

^^^^^ THIS!!!!
Thats pretty much how my car is setup and I cant complain at all. Get a downpipe FOR SURE. Stock catback/gutted cat/downpiped cars sound AMAZING. If you get a catback, dont skimp, get something that fits PERFECT and looks GOOD. The DR750's would be a good option seeing as how they are 100% bolt on and support crazy horsepower. Even if you only ran 15 psi your car would be a rocket.
If you dont want to drop 2500 on a set of brakes I suggest getting a bit more aggressive brake pad and stainless lines along with the Caliper stiffening bolts from Supercar Engineering. I have the stiffening bolts on both my 3/S's and its probably my favorite mod for the price.
EVO IX BoV's can be had for less than 100 dollars shipped, I recommend them, I have one, its nice.
Keep up on maintenance. I suggest, with the low miles and relatively old age, to get the oil analyzed before you start to mod it. Look up Blackstone Laboratories and have them send you a test kit. They send it free, then you just send a check with the sample in the mail. They e-mail and snail mail you your results. I had the biggest relief after finding out my engine was in PRIMO shape after my first analysis considering I am the 5th owner over the cars 85000 mile life. Its worth 30 dollars to find out your engines health before you drop 5 grand on the motor only to spin a bearing 1k miles later. That sort of thing has happened dozens of times to members here.
One other thing. The people here are very knowledgeable about tasteful mods and what and what not to do with our cars. Ask questions, do research, you should be happy with your final product and we just want to help you make that a reality :)
Just something to think about.
Keep all your stock parts; that way if, for whatever reason, you want to return it back to stock condition you can...
I made a mistake and sold some parts off the 94, and ended paying more to return it back to stock condition.
A low mileage stock car will always bring more money than a low mileage modified car.
Going from the question of "if" you should mod it to DR750 is a huge leap! Jason's list is spot on from what you have said. Stepping up to the 750s is a huge leap and about 6k to 8k more.
I am looking at the DR750s, but still need a bit of a push in the logic direction as to 19Ts being half the price. You will see a very noticeable performance difference just in that list. Both in power and handling...
For someone that doesnt want drama but a big increase in go, 13g's on stock fuel with with a hotwired pump is a real blast and is no different than a BPU car, except that mid range power runs all the way to redline. Wonderful little turbos.
Jason
Thanks for all the input everyone
