I learn so much every year by attending this race and talking to crew members and engineers and drivers. I really like the grass roots approach of this race. I hope F1 and NASCAR stay out of this venue so its allure doesn't become commercialized and a big competitive secret. aero is such a key aspect of a peformance car its a shame only a select few models get the R&D to have amazing pieces like this made.
i can only hope to see a pikes peak 3s done to this level.
That car is not even a production car. Tube chassis cf body and such. A 3/S done like that won't be a 3/S anymore. I don't think NASCAR would even come close to the fastest lapped cars. They don't have the suspension geometry or down force of these cars.
