I'd be at home crying if it were.
If it wasn’t for the pop up headlight I’m pretty sure it would have knocked the windshield in.

Coming home from Texas with the Spyder, at like 3am, a deer ran out in front of Don in Spyder... less than 100 feet from our driveway. It was a close call. And coming home from Ohio this weekend, we watched a deer play frogger across I71, it made it across by the time we got to it. Hell, we saw more deer on the interstate during the daytime than night time in Kentucky and Ohio... I guess it because they grown corn along there.
OUCH!
It could have been a lot worse.
The headlight being up must have helped stop it from rolling up on the car and hitting the windshield.
I've got an extra one from the VR4 you can fab up.
Yeah I've had 2 close calls in the last two weeks. They are everywhere!
I didn’t think of it at first but then somebody else mentioned it at work when they saw the pics. I’m pretty sure it would have smashed the windshield if it was down. It looked like he launched off of it. It was pretty crazy.
Glad you're OK man ... if the top was down you might have had a surprise passenger .. !
I kept thinking of this lol

Oh my God...You killed Bambi!
Was glad to see your name on the NG list, hope this doesn't hold you up.
Glad it wasn't worse than it was Paul. Looks like a headlight mechanism and maybe a little body work. Damn deer make me nervous. The most I ever saw was in Western Texas in November (mating season) There must have been a deer on the side of the road every 2 miles and dead ones every 4 miles. This went on for more than 300 miles.
