I think she means the true DNP pipes vs the Ebay knock offs.

No, there are really two different DNP y-pipes... one has 2" inlet, while the other has 1-5/8" inlet (one was made for the hardpipes and one made for stock pipes). I had the hardpipe one, and the silicone hoses don't stretch like the stock hoses did LOL.
Measure the inlets to see which one you have.
Odd. I didn't know that. Wonder why they set it up that way...
the y pipe with the 2" inlets is for the dnp hardpipes that are 2 inch(or any other aftermarket / custom pipes that are 2" in diameter), the other is for peeps with the stock ic pipes.
Damn. Wish I had known about those when I installed my dual core. I spent so much time getting the stock hoses sealed, and the intercooler tucked, that I really don't care to do it again, anytime soon. Great engine bay dbest!
I'm giving these a try...They look really good installed, especially without the labels/logos (got the last unmarked set).
April, those look great! Your Spyder is so tastefully modded. I can't wait to see it again at the next chill n grill.
Thanks Paul, hope I will be able to pull it into the driveway LOL. The engine bay is done (except for polishing the lower intake LOL)... Don wasn't too happy when I said I bought the pipes, he likes the braided hoses. It would have cost of $300 to get new hoses, and I was starting to have a hard time getting the long braided on to seal correctly on the rear intercooler pipe.
I did pressure test these pipes the other day, because I hadn't done anything to the car since install. Not a single leak anywhere, and pressure tested to 16 PSI and all held perfectly.
I got a couple of questions of what kind of clamps I use... I use these: Mikalor Supra W2 Clamps
Now all that is left is getting it lowered, polishing some calipers, and complete brake overhaul. And I can say you definitely didn't half ass paint those calipers LOL.
I just got my set in the mail. It is black as well. They do come with the logos that you cannot take off. Look and feel like quality hoses.
I specifically asked for no logos... I don't know if they will make them like that for the production run, I was the test fitter so I guess I had some say in what I wanted LOL.
