Finished inspecting my calipers, and re-lubing them. Changed the oil and got this back from the chrome platters:

Still no side splitters installed
Oil change done, AANND......a side splitter on. One more side and I can bring the car down off the jack stands.

Here is a close up showing how the Splitter meets the OEM mud guard:

Retro sure make some nice stuffs!
Did you bedliner the splitter?
yay ls swap!
lol. It really does make those cars better.
Where can that splitter be had?
Yeah, the side jobbers you posted.
Retro hasn't done Gen1 Stealth side splitters yet.
They need to get on it..... Been looking at those splitters for some time now.
I drove mine into work today to get some milage put on it to ensure it is running good for NG. Drove great! Alignment and wheel balance getting done tomorrow. They should all be good already but rather have it done since NG is a week away.
You can order 1g stealth splitter now. They told me mine will ship in less than 2 weeks!
what what!
Went out to meet up with some friends tonight about 30 miles from the house, About half way there had a awful noise develop that looks to be the A/C compressor clutch. A/C was not even on so I'm assuming the clutch was just tearing itself apart. Made it home just now and will have to pull it apart tomorrow to take a look. I originally thought the noise was from the AC/Alt Adjuster pulley which I just replaced the other day with a new OEM one from Ninja, Guess I was wrong. I should have my old compressor still here so I can pull the clutch off of it and swap it in. AC is dead anyways till I can figure out what on my Diamante display swap is not wired right and not kicking the compressor on.... Sucks as I had an Alignment and wheel balance appointment tomorrow morning that I'll have to reschedule now!
Brought another friend home to play.

Next brakes
If he wants your "Dick"..... LMAO!!!
Finally figured out that awful noise coming from the front of the car.... After pulling the accessory belt assembly apart like 20 times replacing all pulleys, AC compressor, Belt, Etc. I decided to check driveline and found the drivers intermediate shaft bearing was toast! Bearing was grinding had about an inch of up/down shaft play and the dust guards where scraping the mount which makes the same sound the AC compressor does when the clutch is failing.....

Spent my afternoon / evening playing with cardboard, working with multiple templates to get one just right....This is the final product:

Now to take it to Line-X.
Are you just going to Line-x the whole car someday..... :p
Somebody already did that.
Found that the rebuild kit is available and Ninja is waiting to get them in. Comes with the factory bearing and the new oil seal/ dust guards.
The only thing that looks to still be available beyond the rebuild kit is the cast iron hanger with lists for $300 plus. Shaft is not included.
Bearing and shaft are both press fit together from what I could tell taking mine all apart.
Figuring out no spark issue on the new stealth. So many things to check, PITA but i'm narrowing it down one by one.
Got my trim pieces back from Line-X:

Damn I love your sub boxes and the line x. How much does it normally run?
I got the kit from Cherry hill Triplex for $55 shipped Fedex 2 Day. I have spent so much money there that Mike just gives me 2 day shipping for the same as regular shipping. Comes with both dust shields and the bearing and snap ring.
Steve where does all your luggage go when you road trip?!?
woohoo! locked the only set of keys I can find in it...inside my garage.
I got the intermediate drivers side shaft today, got it installed, went for a test drive, and the noise is still there..... So I'm just going to drive it at NG and it will either get worse to the point I can locate what the hell is making the damn noise or it will go away!! So car runs and drives fine, just sounds like shit after driving it a little while....
