Time for a .44 Mag now? :D
Maybe?
If they got more than they had reserve orders for, perhaps. I had to wait five months for this one.
Thanks!
Picked up a couple of boxes of ammo today. Now I just need to find some time to shoot it.
Yep, that's probably the next handgun on my list. Time to start saving.
You won't regret it. Such a powerful gun it truly breath-taking. Funny that I'm in the 1911 45ACP market and you're in the .44 Magnum market. I just wish the 45ACP was decently accurate. Truth be told I will be buying a 1911 for its sexiness more than anything.
I took my Glock 26 to the range today put 200 rds through it 1 full 32 round magazine. I tried to get it to jam and couldn't I fired the 32rds as fast as I could to get it to jam.

Great gun even better after doing to little work I did to it. I have fired every kind of ammo I can find from cheap Russian brown bear/silver to hornaday critical defense not a problem NOW for the pictures

I forgot to post up my initial range report with my PM9.
So, it's been a while since this trip to the range but I thought I would share this anyhow. I had bought my PM9 for CC use and I needed to break it in. I followed the prep thread over on the Kahr forums. I also added some grip tape to the grip as well as a grip extender to the 6 round magazine. I wasn't too concerned about accuracy. I mainly wanted to make sure it cycled accurately. Ammo I used was some Federal FMJ. I went through 200 rounds and all of them cycled flawlessly except one. I had a FTF and the slide locked back. When I checked the chamber the round was nose down in the magazine. I ejected the magazine and reinserted it. Released the slide and it fired every round after that without any more failures.
I was aware of this issue before I went to the range. The issue is that you might have issues with the bullet catching the slide lever causing the slide to lock back and an FTF. I had checked and it looked like clearance was good on both the range FMJ and defensive JHP I have. As such when I got home from the range I broke it down and filed down the slide lever ever so slightly. Now I just need to get back to the range to test it again to see if I get another failure. In the end my accuracy wasn't too bad since I wasn't focusing on that.
Here's the target from the first box of rounds. First half shot at 7 yards, 2nd at 10 yards.

Overall I'm happy with the gun. However, I've decided I need more magazines to take to the range. Two just doesn't cut it.
LOL!
Depending on which 1911 you get they can be decently accurate. But, I will admit the sexiness played a big part of why I bought one.
Is that a Loaded? Looks great
Thanks!
Yep, it's a loaded PI9132LP.
Clint, I am a bit torn. Looking a 1911 (what handgun owner isn't), however, what about this. A Kel-Tec PLR-16 pistol. You can get a floating barrel with side rails. Not much need for extravagant attachments like an AR-15 though. With a decent red dot I am thinking this something I could pick up in the near future.
Kel-Tec PLR16 .223 Long Range Pistol $499.00 SHIPS FREE
Yeah, that's a tough call. That's a bargain compared to a good 1911 or an AR-15. That's a cool little gun. I'm thinking their KSG tactical bullpup shotgun will be my next gun purchase. Then a .44 mag.
I love the one bag comment though:
Mine arrived with rust. Plastic junk. :lo5l:
Bought another Glock so now I have a Glock 30sf, Glock 26 and a Ruger P-85
