Parts back from powder coat. I'll send the oil pan and intake plenum after they are modified along with the transmission case and some other misc things, but the engine is basically complete. Going to rip into the transmission and strip the bay for paint next.

purrrdy!
Second transmission apart... well mostly. I am unhappy with the way this thing looked on the inside. This was supposed to be a transmission that shifted great. It has signs of sitting outside, the inside is disgusting. The gear for the front diff will not come off the output shaft for anything. It's a good thing I wasn't just someone who needed a stock Trans to throw in.
I guess I won't go further than unhappy though. Since I bought this mainly for parts and spare parts. The bell housing will be getting a brace installed shortly. The mid housing will just be put aside just incase. I'm going to compare gears and syncros on both my original transmission and this "new" one. My transmission had a few syncros replaced back in the day, but I do not remember which ones. Anywho, I should end up with a good shifting transmission and one for spare parts. I might even pick up another later on since parts are starting to be discontinued.

I will be stripping and prepping the bay for paint on Sunday - while I'm working on that, I have another buddy coming PDR the car.

Engine bay is pretty much stripped. Just have to pull the harnesses and start sanding. I'm going to get enough pain to do the whole car. Tough choice between the factory pearl white, lexus starfire pearl, or lambo balloon white.
Meanwhile my buddy came do some dent repair. He did an excellent job to my car, there's only a few small ones he could not get to. Can't really should you pictures because you would be looking at dent less panels lol.
Stripped for paint. Going to pull the side skirts and fenders to start sanding the bay this week. Looks like it will be sprayed this weekend.

Going to pull unused wires out of these.

Dent less. You might be wondering why the other side of the car is never in pictures. That's because the rear quarter has been damaged since I bought the car. I tried my skills as a body man, that didn't work out too good. Getting the quarter replaced before the body is sprayed.

Pulled unused wiring and connectors then rewrapped the front control harness. Engine harness next... maybe next week, need a little break from that lol.

Stripping the spray paint down. This sucked, I don't recommend anyone do this for a temporary quick fix.

Installed my treadstone intercooler last night and wasn't quite satisfied with the outcome. So I sold it today and I'm now on the hunt for a supra ets 5 inch intercooler.
Tonight I notched the crossmember, replaced the power steering rack bellows, installed new Mitsubishi tie rod ends, pushed the old ball joints out which will be replaced with Moog ones after a coat of paint.
