Excellent work Primus101!!!
That is so awesome, Kevin... you need a pair.
Would you be offended if I asked you to make me a set? I can pay lol
Very nice looking addition to the Stealth. It's extremely difficult to make a good looking grill that doesn't rice out the car but you pulled it off well. :) Almost makes me wish I had a 1G Stealth. :)
I ended up pulling the front hub assemblies, front subframe connector, triple gauge pod, datalogger, BOV, and fuel tank off the 92 VR-4. I sold it all to a semi-local guy so his VR-4 will pass inspection. I also started working on the 93 VR-4. I was a little shocked pulling off the crashbar because it was in so much tension from the wreck that it snapped a few of the 12mm bolts as I was taking them off. I got the FMIC, part of the NOS intercooler sprayer setup out, a few pipes, and the driver headlight out. Tomorrow I'll be taking a cut-off blade to whatever I can cut off that won't come unbolted. I'm hoping to install an ARC-2 back into the Stealth, finish the BlackStealth LCD gauge install, and maybe swap out the transfercase also.
I finally went out and started working on mine today, the weather had let up considerably and I'm no longer freezing my ass off while I do the silly little things that need doing. So far it's running again, and nearly all put back together. I just have to put some of the interior panels back in and re-mount the rear bumper with the quarter brackets and plastic fasteners.
I'm hoping to have it pulled out of the back yard and a new transfer case put into it next weekend. By then all the snow should be melted off the roads :)
Vr4 sold for 318$ today. Starting this weekend buying these parts for next coming weeks. IPS Exhaust, Tires, Camber Plates and Control arms, full TT motor and hopefully a trans. maybe AWD and weld VCU
Worked for 6 hours outside today with the temperature in the single digits. You get cold but at a certain point it doesn't matter anymore. Lol. I dropped the front subframe, cut the whole front end with a grinder and took everything out to expose the front of the engine. I was able to pull some of the top end off and get everything nearly ready to pull the motor/tranny. I did found out that the front 16T turbo is toast from the wreck. :( The inlet on the compressor cover is completely snapped off and the turbo is locked up so it definitely has to be rebuilt.
