I have a friend in a similar situation. About 30k in parts for his r/t tt and hes considering parting it out and buying supra.
i have a sc300 with a 1jzgte swap thats just begging for a big single and mods. im about ready to just part my ways with the beloved stealth. honestly lol
Although I love the 2JZ-GTE the JZA80 Supra us butt ugly. I personally prefer the older Supra the Mk III [MA70, GA70 and JZA70] but they only have the 1jz-gte, 7m-gte and the 1g-gte. However the 1jz is still a very underrated engine. The 7m is larger but not as reliable and the 1g is only 2 ltr.
I see 1jzs performing just as well as 2jzs on a regular basis. Alot of friends with 1jz swaps in there driftcars
Im trying how to change the tail lights bulbs!!!!!! ... i made every kind of mods on this car.. except bulb replacing.. im losssst !!! hahahahahaha!
Have 85% of the parts ordered for my winter/spring build. Pulled upper intake manifold this morning, starting to pull intercooler piping, then injectors/lower manifold this afternoon/evening.
(Then dash, center column, shifter assembly, exhaust, turbo's, t-belt) LOL.
waiting on parts for it :(
