Demotivating enough that my HD fried on my pc, but I am trying to clean up an old laptop that belonged to my brother and sister-in-law. I'm running malwarebytes and it's detected over 2800 objects so far.
...and all of them porn. ;)
Seriously, that's the mark of the 21st century; technology use has outpaced knowing/understanding how to use it. But you already knew that. That's why everyone but 2 people on this forum are hopelessly addicted to FB.
My sis-in-law is the type type of person to download games and not pay attention to the extra crap it wants to install with it.
Final count ended up being 2895 objects detected. I also did a disk cleanup and system cleanup and got rid of 13GB of crap.
I only plan on using the laptop til I get everything purchased for a new pc. Then I'll probably give it back to my brother for the kids to use. I've probably still got another hour or so to put into it until I can have it usable for me.

So as told, pc died, fixing up old laptop to use in meantime. I had laptop about 95% good to go and I tripped over the cord which pulled it off my file cabinet and it cracked the fucking screen.
