^^I lol'D, and got yelled at!
Meh. I think everyone lumps all of the Deutschland brands together. I no way do I believe that a Porsche has the problems or issues that an Audi may have. Audi has always been crap. BMW hasn't been much better. Benz is, imho, still where it's at (for Germany cars, anyways). Especially the diesels. And VW's have been very, very good.
Meanwhile, GM can't make a car that doesn't squeek & rattle after 50,000 miles. Ford is JUST NOW coming to terms with offering Americans vehicles that they really want....because the rest of the world has been driving them for decades. And Chrysler is still clueless. The cold hard truth is that Honda/Toyota are still on top for reliability. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Pugeot and Citroen probably rate higher on reliaibility than the US domestic brands...and that Alfa isn't even nearly as bad as it is demonized. Old, shared experiences die hard--so people (who have never owned/driven an Alfa) still believe the stories that held true in the 1960's about them--are still true.

p.s.
I agree with the part about germans being on top of their vehicle Mx. But if you believe that's a hit on the brand--because you feel that cars should last indefinitely despite being abused to shit...I certainly hope you're driving an SOHC 3/s.

Here's how I know America is FUCKED. FUBAR.
Out of the two parties who actually CAN put someone in the white house, the leading candidates are Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump. We might as well send an emissary to kneel before Putin and beg him to take over.
