Which ones? I have the S1 coilovers and love them. I wish the rebound could be more adjustable for the firmer settings because it can get slightly bouncy on bumps but otherwise I love them. The ride is very similar to sport ECS mode.Quote:

Why not carve foam instead of clay?
In this particular situation because the project is recessed into something and I need a way to get most of the filler back out in one piece to make molds with for fiberglass. Most foams that harden up are too brittle and would make it difficult to get back out. In this case I'll likely fill in some areas with balled up aluminum foil (or foam), but the majority will be made of clay, sculpted, removed, and then used to make my mold.

You could get some Klean Klay. It is commonly used for expanding foam mold making as it does not stick ot the mold foam and does not dry.Quote:

Bought 2nd hand 3sx downpipe. Now my bolt on upgrades are complete. Just need a tune now (after installing downpipe, hks twin spark and id725 injectors).

Going to get some expanding foam to fill all the negative space and rough sculpt with, then lay the clay over the top to get a better final product. Contemplating going to an HID low beam set up, as well as doing a more permanent mounting..The brackets from the factory are pretty bulky and ruining my smooth lines.
Finally got my front outer tie rod ends and ball joints replaced. Washed it yesterday and drove it today to enjoy the gorgeous weather we're having.

Thanks guys :) After all the great cars I've had, I can't believe how much I still love the blue car. Last month was the 10 year anniversary that I brought it home. What size and offsets are your GTCs? Mine are 18x9 +42 and 18x10 +43. The fronts are close to the spring perch. Your car was always one of my favorites! :)Quote:

It's the now discontinued Tanabe Hyper Medallion. Bought new in 2004 and probably my favorite sounding 3/S exhaust. No drone, silky smooth at lower RPM, and a nice roar at full poke. The tips may seem to stick out a bit far from certain angles but line up nicely with the bumper when looking at a side profile of the rear.Quote:

Those are from an EVO. These ones are from a GTO out of Japan. They should be here in the next few days so I'll snap some pics. John has bought 3 2000 model GTOs out of Japan and 2 of them had these springs on them. John is swapping them out for stock ECS on the latest car he bought. John currently owns 4 MY99 GTO Twin Turbos. 2x MR Z15A's and 2x Z16A's. He is currently trying to buy his 5th one :lol: 2 of the cars he owns are the 2 last Twin Turbo GTO's ever made.
