i thought about a lengthy reply, but i didn't want to derail the thread any further. i do know that after the money is in the car, the car will still run for quite some time; but the game is only anecdotes i could share over a beer. more than that though, there's a part of my inner capitalist that has an ideological problem with the state of collegiate scholarship sports in general--but football in particular.Quote:

Geno Smith was on fire today. Shawn Alston looked like a beast.
In other news sPitt lost to Youngstown State and Michigan is overrated.
I think that's yet to be seen. They aren't playing very well but Alabama put similar beatings on everyone they played last year except the 1st game against LSU. It's not like this beating is a surprise.Quote:
