I've been to Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Aachen, Munich, etc. While I'm sure the NW has it's share of fine breweries, I doubt there's very much that I haven't seen. And while I get that a cold beer can be very refreshing, I maintain that the mark of truly good bier, is one that you can drink at room temperature. Cold temperatures tend to hide imperfections in a brew.Quote:

Yes, 72 degree F beer is nasty. However, cellar temp (55ish degrees) is what people consider warm for beer iirc, and plenty of beers are tasty enough that way.Quote:
