Yeah, that's part of the plan if I ever start:D
Nothing to the Stealth or the GP for that matter. My mom asked me to check out her Caliber though. Said the brakes started grinding last night. I find a minor gouge stripe around the left front before I even get the wheels off. Go to break the lug nuts loose and start cussing. The mother effers who put her tires on last summer impacted the sh!t out of the lug nuts when they put them back on. I had to use a cheater pipe on the breaker bar to break them loose. When the lug nut squeaks and pops as it breaks free that means its too f@cking tight.
I told my mom that if she goes back there to get tires that she needs to tell Jimmy that if they impact the lug nuts like that again I will personally go down there and punch them in the face.
Anyway, I got the lug nuts off and went to take the caliper bolts off. Took left front off no problem. Go to right front and top bolt breaks free. Bottom bolt just breaks.
I ended up having to take the caliper bracket off and run over to my uncle's place and heat the ever living hell out of it with a torch to get the rest of the bolt out. Got online, ordered the pads and the bolt kit. Ran to Advance to pick it up and I guess the system made an error so I got a free upgrade from the silver pads to the gold ones.
Came back, put the brakes back together and anti-seized the hell out of the slider bolts.
My mom asked me if I would rotate the tires while I was working on the car anyway, so I plan on that too. I grab the cheater pipe and go to the left rear and got 4 of the 5 broke loose. The 5th stripped the cheap ass chrome cap off it and it is giving me a hell of a time trying to get something else hammered onto it so I can get it broken loose. Of course it started raining so I had to come inside because I was getting soaked.
If the rain doesn't stop in the next hour or so I am just going to go out, put it all back together and worry about that damn lug nut and rotating tires until another day.
Got any more pics familyman? You have an auto right? Any info on that hood vent?
What pics you looking for? I'm tearing dash apart right and have some exterior enhancements coming next week, so I'll take a few more pics after that is complete. Here is one Vira took at NG (I photochopped a billboard out of the background)...

Hood vent is from a Ford GT500. 2" section out of middle to fit in cowl.
Nothing in particular, just was interested in seeing your car :) Looking good!
AEM gauges in dash. AEM datastream gauge on left and the other two are widebands. I'll use the datastream for boost, coolant, and battery volts mostly. I was planning on keeping my autometer oil pressure gauge on a-pillar and add a trans temp gauge there also, but I'm actually thinking about ditching those both and just buy aem sensors and run it through aem to the datastream gauge so I can setup custom warning for trans temp and fuel cut for oil pressure.
Had to cut a small hole in clear cover so I could hit the buttons on datastream. It looks pretty good in person because the hole I cut matches the trim on gauge for the buttons.

Next will be to install this little guy in the instrument cluster, under speedo....

Also re-glued dash with gorilla glue and installed new vents. Finally! Been bugging me since I bought the car a few years ago.
Pulling dash wasn't bad. Thanks 316! It's all of the crap that I am doing now that it's out.
Dash installed. AEM gauges, oil pres and trans temp below radio, forcedfour gear indicator lower center of cluster next to where high beam light is....

Lit up. Car not running but had just a little before as coolant temp is 174;). In first gear:D. Radio needs replaced. Hate the green backlighting but that's what came with the car. Problem will be rectified, hopefully soon!

Not today but yesterday sold my old (but still good) do and borl cat back and picked up a Morgan splitter. Like the Borla when I was being aggressive, just has always been a bit too raspy and loud for me personally in normal daily usage or highway cruising. Going to switch to a new DP (still figuring out which one) and eventually a Tanabe Medallion Touring cat back.
Going to use the splitter as a mold/foundation to make my own I think. I like it, just want to to run farther back and seal off the engine bay. May be able to modify it and the bumper slightly to create a a small duct to the front brakes even as I believe there will be a gap between the bumper and splitter with the splitter shimmed to be level. Lots of ideas I'd like to try to do without tearing this splitter up just in case.

Maiden voyage with horn button shifting and I love it! Rolled a mileage milestone so figured I would snap a pic.

Was hoping for 0-100 video.
Was planning on it and even have a couple go-pros with me from work, for work this week, but the garage time took too long:(
Put a few hundred miles on it cruising up to Estes Park with this bunch...

That horn shifter is BAD ASS!
i'm only surprised that shooter didn't do the horn button shifters first. :) major props.
That wouldnt have anything to do with those noises from your trans would it Paul? :p

Yeah that too lol
So after swapping out to the poly rear diff bushings I checked my rear wheel bearings and the drivers side is going out. I should have just replaced both sides when my pass side went out 7 months ago. Car is sitting on jacks waiting for me to pull it apart tonight. New oem parts are coming in Wednesday, then Thursday it is time for some new tires!
if you do, let me know who you get to build your trans. right now, my car sits dead as a doornail...chiefly because i can't find a shop that will rebuild it...WITH MY PARTS. and buying one "pre-built" means that they weld the differential, which i don't want.
Replaced insane 20+psi minimum boost MBC spring with lower-K clicky-pen spring in the hope of avoiding fuel cut on this stoopid 9966 ECU
De-greased the engine bay on my SL and installed some aftermarket wheels on the VR4. Some good ol classic 5zigen FN01R-Cs in 18x9.5 +35 :-P
flushed water system. hoping that was the problem for overheating. :x
Got new tires saturday then painted my rims gold again today. Its looking pretty good I think.

Both of them look good, the same, but good!
Phone posted a double post. =/ My sig pic shows the old color, it was a bronze. This color pops out a little more now!
Got towed by my city because my insured and registered car was deemed "abandoned" while sitting in front of my house waiting for a friend to help with a tune. It's been there for 2 or so months, but has been moved in that time. It didn't just sit in one spot. Luckily I was able to talk them into towing it into my back yard as to keep my fees as low as possible. I will be fighting this one, but today I guess I moved my car...

And I sourced a 2nd gen Stealth Rear bumper. Next up is a wrap job.
Those rims look really good

I did. The bumper and plate weren't on the car at the time. So that day I put the bumper back on along with the plate and moved the car in front of my neighbors house. The note just said the car was considered abandoned and must be moved, which it was. Then today which is one week later it was towed. I figured if the plate was back on and the car was mostly complete, the only thing missing is the taillights which are in my hatch, then everything would be fine but I guess not.
Secured me a nice set of seats for the 97, and these!

HEY!!! Those look familiar...
