Hello everyone. Just joined the site because I'm looking to buy some parts for a base model 3000gt.
I'm having some rubbing issues because the previous owner decided to drop it 2 inches, get 18 inch rims w/ 275/35/18's in the rear and 245/40/18's in the front.
So if anyone has any stock suspension or just the springs itself please contact me @ chewabacha@hotmail.com w/ the total cost shipped to 55130. I'd greatly appreciate it.
What's shakin everyone? /salute
Formerly known as CursedFish on 3si.org and probably by the same name on BAWC. Been out of the game for a few years now (moved to VA 2 years ago although I am frequently in NJ to visit family/friends), but feel the mod bug now that I actually have money to spend to do things right. Still have my '93 VR-4 that I hope to have back on the road again soon (she needs some tlc). Thanks to Hans for passing me the site info; it's good to be back!
Dave...what up? Good to hear from you man!

Hey! Been a long time, that's for sure. I had some work-related changes and ended up dropping off the grid for awhile. I was actually in WV last month on a camping trip and holy F it is scary. Like, "Deliverance" scary. And I thought NJ was a stretch to survive. It's really great to see a lot of the familiar names on here. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
:lmao: It's definitely a different type of survival here than Jersey! Hang around, many of the old names are here and more arrive daily. :)

it's good to see that the NG word got out to non 3sgto members. it's awesome to see that we're able to spread news about this site because of the NG.
I'll definitely be around, that's for sure!
And as for WV-survival, let's put it this way: we drove for 15 miles on a (2) lane road that was lined with nothing but abandoned shanty shacks. We affectionately referred to them as "rape huts". Two of the girls with us freaked out when we wanted to stop at a gas station for snacks and were visibly trembling. Needless to say we didn't stop. We passed through a "town" or whatever that means to WV folk. It looked like everyone was in on a joke we weren't privy to and were all, "QUICK, ACT NORMAL! Let's fool these city folk into stopping and have our way with them -- they look delightful" (this was in back country-speak I'm sure). We counted one Asian dude ... and he was the guy that traveled with us. We didn't see another the whole trip ... and we were there for almost a week. He was scared to go anywhere alone.
That aside, the country was awesome for camping/rock climbing. We'll definitely be going back soon.
