So, I've been doing a ton of work to a friend's M3. And, the other day he did this to it. :sorrow: This has been, hand down, the most demotivating part of my week, which has been my most demotivating week so far this year.
The bald ass tires, which I've been hounding him to get replaced, surely played a part in this.

Anyways, he is picking up an SMG M3 that I will be swapping over his 6-speed trans into.
Well that sucks, how bad is the damage on top? Looks OK from the bottom lol.

The SMG and the manual are actually the same transmissions, just need to swap the shift mechanism and the bell housing.
