I'd be the same way. People like the hoody are a different breed. Im partially like that. Im super competitive where winning is the purpose of playing the game. Anything less is absolute failure and unacceptable. Perfection is the only measure and anything less is failure.
Its actually hard to be "normal" and have the mentality he and people like him have. Often not liked by most people.

When it's all over, men are judged by character. Not saying Bill wont be admired for being a great coach. Too bad nobody will use class in the same sentence though.
Its not that you're a dbag or lack class. Its that you're wired differently. Some people handle loss better than others. I dont handle losing well. I played sports at a very high level until messing up my knee. When you play at a certain level you're driven to a point that no one else can really understand unless they've done it. Im very near the same way. I was the guy on the field not happy with scoring a goal. Its certain personality things that certain people cant grasp.
Do i think its the right thing to do or the right way to handle it? No. But thats the way he is and since im actually very similar, i understand it. Its not that we're even okay with it. Its just the way you are.

The Ravens this year seem to be a lot like The Steelers during Jerome Bettis' last year. I had a feeling this was going to be Ray's penultimate game. I don't know if the Ravens will be able to fully contain the 49ers but it should be one hell of a game.
"Class" is being wired like Belichick but still having the wherewithal to summon a modicum of sportsmanship in all circumstances.
Btw - I heard a new song this morning, went something like, "He's Brady and he blows it".

Brady's drive is what i actually like about him. The teams he is on really just dont have that much talent on defense anymore. The Ravens are playing like a team possessed. Those small errors NE usually never makes really cost them. Even if this current roster played its best game and didnt lose talib and chung i didnt see them winning that game when the Ravens came out and literally punched them right in the mouth in the 2nd half and NE had nothing to answer that intensity with. Finesse teams can be beaten up physically, like how Oregon doesnt match up well to teams with a good front 7 and can tackle. Throw them out of rythm and you have an honest chance of winning.

This is when I knew they were done. I have to admit as much as I hate NE I wasn't going to make fun of the Brady nut swingers until the last moment. There is no better clutch player than Tom Brady. If anybody can pull a comeback it's that guy. I also thought his interview before the game was pretty classy. I still love to see that team lose though.lolQuote:
