Guys, really. Stop the judgements. I had ONE lapse. Give me a f'in break. Seriously. I've had enough. First John makes his judgements, then I'm called an idiot?! Enough. Way to kill a great thread with a lot of enthusiasm about an event that I've already put tens of hours into making a reality.
i think dyno day should be toward the end, so even the weekenders can be there!

i did have one uestions though , im a paranoid person what do you all do for security of said race cars from being vandalized or parts robbed during the night? i doubt i will be able to bring an enclosed trailer

Truthfully? The guys hang out in the parking lot so late that even the last hotel, which supplied security, gave up on the idea. It was a waste of money because our guys were out until 4am or so, then back out at 8am. We usually let the local police know we'll be there and they do a bunch of drive-bys. Never had an issue.
In guessing signups and ability to pay won't happen till after the first of the year?

No idea yet. It depends on how many things are added and how Alan's time goes. It looks like we're going to St. Louis for Labor Day. After that, we'll know more and we'll make some tentative announcements, as well as some definitive announcements. Right now it's WAY too early for us to know much. Normally we would've had the track set for 2013 by May or so, at the latest. So right now we're running behind schedule, trying really hard to catch up. And I'm getting there. We just need some time and patience. Moving this event is a HUGE undertaking, and requires a whole lot of time, which I really don't have right now. But somehow it's getting done, thanks in part to the St. Louis crew who has been there to help with everything I could need. As long as that keeps up, we're going to be ok. Just patience, Kev... I appreciate that you're excited to sign up. I REALLY do. But we're not there yet. we don't even have all the events in place yet (new stuff).Quote:
