We're not talking about eligible for BCS. In their final rankings, the AP (who has nothing to do with the BCS) put 1 loss Oregon as a better team than undefeated Ohio State. Although, Oregon had one extra game against K-State which I'm sure factored in.Quote:

You can dream up any scenario you want(short of 118 FBS teams all contracting superaids before game 12), Loserville will not be in the MNC. 1 misstep and they're done, which I fully anticipate. Undefeated isn't even enough with their SoS. I got 20 bones that says I'm right, and you're high. :D
If they were in the ACC already, it would be a different story. Clemson has to face UGa and the real USC. FSU has to play at UF. Beating teams like that would get it done. The crap that is the BigEast/AAC is not even close for anyone to bat an eye.

Texas had 4 losses but had a better win than Ohio State (#20 (9-4) Oregon State)... On a neutral field, Texas vs OSU would have been a coin flip. Maybe we'll get that match-up in the Fiesta Bowl this year ;)
I would argue that Nebraska was tOSU's best win, but I don't want to remember that...
