^ Pretty sure this is how colleges are using tuition money.

I had a nice long thing written up for this before my laptop crashed. In short, couple things to remember:
1) student loans are not forgiven and cannot be gotten rid of bankruptcy.
2) kids are told for 18 years that they have to go to college. You brainwash people for that long with that nonsense, tell them that there's no other way to get a job and not surprising that's where they go.
3) Colleges are big business now. Colleges get money based on how many kids pass, retention rate, etc. and are shoveled federal money for it ON TOP of charging other people for it. Of course the Fed doesn't want people to know about the high failure rate of college students (only around half of college students ever graduate, of those that do, only around half finish in 4 years.) Of course parents would be outraged if they knew these facts. High school and college advisors of course never mention it to students or parents.

Of course, when you have the majority of your workforce under the age of 40 still paying off loans in the tens of thousand of dollar range, they tend to bee just like worker bees. Quietly slaving away with whatever they're told to do. You don't have time for political activism when you're struggling just to keep above water. Helps keep things just the way they are.

That is in fact a Mercury outboard motor........I do in fact love it, lol. They are what's called "hot-v" engines, with the exhaust on the inside of the V.
