I drive mine when its not cold as fcuk outside
I drive mine everyday. Mine likes the cold. 0 knock now :)
New rotors, and pads and taring motor down to fish whatever got cuaght in my waterpump somehow out. Its making a ticking noise Ish occasionsly.
Driver side rear wheel bearings replaced, car is quiet again, yay.
Checked my right rear suspension and confirmed I have a bad Tein H tech spring. With a 1 inch wheel gap the tire rubs the lip of the wheel well on bumps. Never happens on the left side and I swapped ECS struts with the problem remaining on right rear. These came from ebay and have authentic looking markings but you never know for sure.
:(
I struggled to find out why my tachometer continuously read 400-500 RPMS low, until warm, and then they seemed CLOSE to normal....
This morning when I started it (sub 20°F temps, the tach sat @ ZERO).....
Solution was BAD GAUGE CLUSTER. I spent a few hours swapping "stuff" (donor had white face gauges) around, but finally got a working tach....BONUS!....my car lost 13K miles during the surgery!!! (don't worry kids, I do not plan to sell my car AND if I did, I would disclose the info :) )
Bob.
Ordered more parts. Can't wait till stuff starts coming in.
Bob it's very easy to modify the odo if you want to find it forwards to match yours. However the easier thing would be to swap out just the tacho and leave your origional speedo.
