...children don't run away screaming when my dog comes racing towards them to say "hi", random passersby don't fear of getting bit because she wanders over to say hello, i don't have to put my dog in cargo when she flies on an airplane, she plays well with cats, she qualifies as a "small pet" when traveling which makes finding a hotel (at least in Europe) much easier), she's super-easy to find someone to pet-sit for because she's not-at-all intimidating for someone to take back to their house for a few days (although several have threatened to steal her because she's so damn awesome), she DOES fit in a backpack--which means i can carry her around indoors incognito, she's not at all afraid to play with or stand up to dogs 10 times her size, ....Quote:

And they live a lot longer. :) My 13 year old (14 in January) 4 lb dog still has spunk like a puppy. He's currently raising hell in the kitchen by himself, with a ball.Quote:
