Started pulling the tranny... going to trade it with the backup and rebuild it.
Don't forget Champion has a rebate on those thru July. It's a $1.50 per plug. That's $3.50 each if you go thru Summit :). Those plugs are the shiznit on E85 with a spark amp! EDIT: My bad, they are infact $2.00 off a piece... just pre-registered. I stareted a thread in General. If you've purchased plugs from March 1st - June 30th you're eligible.

Finally pulled my pan to knock out the dents. There was some interesting material stuck to the pick up and in the bottom of the pan - leaf-like.

Spent about an hour trying to figure out where this rattle noise is coming from. Only happens when taking off from a stop.
Started it on chromed clone ecu.

I dropped the pan as PM... no issues to speak of before. I have 10k miles on the car - 80k total.
Oil pickup has been replaced. I cleaned the pan and banged out the dents best I could. I'm planning on putting it back together tomorrow.
I am a bit cautious about pulling the rod caps. It seems that people that do that end up with catastrophic failure a couple thousand miles later... I have wiggled the caps and each one moves less than 1 mm - best I can judge.
The material on the pickup is silicone along with a little bit of leaves (no idea there.) The crap in the pan is roughly .5 oz total.
Please tell me if I should do something else before reassembling. Thanks.
Ultra Black seems to be a good choice for the RTV. I just did the whole 6 speed trans with it and it doesn't leak at all
Installed an NGK AFX. Just wired directly to the battery with a simple switch inline. I'll swap that out for a relay at a later date.

Spent two hours washing and waxing it yesterday just to take it out and get stuck in a thunderstorm.
Planning on installing ss brake lines on the other one today. Been sitting two months with a broken bake line, just haven't had the motivation to fix it.
pulled the old 11G turbos in preparation for the new 16T pair that should be here in a few days.

Made sure the race gas jugs were clean and threw them in the back of the beater to fill up tomorrow afternoon ;)
Installed my bent carbon fiber driveshaft back in, and then tried to start for initial tuning......and center coil has no spark...just can't win with this car
Not today, but last weekend I replaced my oil cooler lines since one rusted through, and I replaced my digital climate control since the screen was not working.
Started gutting it for the part out.

Checked the voltage at my fuel pump because my IDC's were hitting 102%. Only had 11.5 volts at idle so I made my own hot wire solution, 13.9 volts at idle now. Haven't logged it yet.
Left her in the dark gloomy shop, alone, and cold. Getting her calloused up for the abuse forthcoming....
