I finally was able to wash it, run a clay bar over it, hand polish it, & get some wax on...Now it looks so much better than it did with the crazy amount of dust & other contaminants that were previously covering it!! Oh, & I bought an OEM steering wheel that shows no signs of wear to replace my somewhat chewed up one.
They have a pattern for the stock bumpers, partial hood and partial fenders. I didn't want the lines so I went full fenders and full hood which was a custom cut. Whole front end is protected now.
I'm really glad I did it as I feel so much better about driving with a new paint job and not worrying about what might happen. It's the best feeling I've had driving the car in years :)
I put some more boxes and tools on top of one of them. The other is parked outside waiting to be cleaned and sold. And yet another is waiting to be unloaded and ripped apart to prep for the cage builder.
